25 June–3 July 1994, Svolvær and Kabelvåg
While the festival was made up of somewhat fewer exhibitions in 1994 than in previous years, the range of content remained great. The main exhibition was devoted to painter Irma Salo Jæger. Clothing designer Svein Ove Kirkhorn presented attire for men, and, among other things, the programme offered exhibitions involving book illustrations, earthenware and a kite seminar. Kunstnernes næringsforum i Vågan [KNIV, Arts and Business Forum in Vågan] arranged an exhibition in the former post office. In addition, several ready-made exhibitions were brought in under the festival’s umbrella, among them Fotografisk vårutstilling [Photographic spring exhibition], a juried group exhibition from Forbundet Frie Fotografer [The Norwegian Association of Fine Art Photographers], and the degree show from the department of textile printing and weaving at Statens Håndverks- og Kunstindustriskole i Oslo [Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry].
