Ann Cathrin November Høibo (1979, NO) uses the gallery room as her studio, where she assembles half finished works with new whims and acquisitions. The site specific installations consist predominantly of threads and textiles in various conditions, weaved, draped, laddered, bundled and seducing. Høibo’s works are both influenced and opposed to the marked ideology, as it is expressed through fashion, body ideals and flexibility demands, but simultaneously show a poorly hidden love for the material techniques she uses. Høibo will make an outdoor installation in the Prison Park in the centre of Kabelvåg.
