Benedict Drew

Benedict Drew (b.1977, lives and works in Whitstable, UK and Margate, UK) graduated from the Slade School of Art in 2011. He has on several occasions collaborated with artists and musicians, such as Otomo Yoshihide, Emily Richardson, Nathan Budzinski & Auto Italia. Drew was the lead-artist for Chisenhale Gallery’s Propeller Project in 2012, and a LUX Associate Artist from 2011–12. In 2012 he was shortlisted for the Jarman award. Drew has presented his work at Tate Modern, London, UK; Yamaguchi Centre for Art, Yamaguchi, Japan; Rotterdam Film Festival, Rotterdam, the Netherlands; Kill Your Timid Notion, Dundee, UK; ICA, London; Performa 09, New York, NY, USA; and The Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, Toronto, Canada.
