Dennis McNulty

Dennis McNulty (b.1970 in Ballinasloe, Ireland, lives and works in Dublin, Ireland and Berlin, Germany) studied Music and Media Technologies at Trinity College in Dublin. Informed by his studies in psychoacoustics, McNulty’s work is produced through investigations of embodied knowledge in relation to other forms of knowledge, often in contexts of constructed environments. His works are often presented in hybrid forms, drawing on aspects of film, sculpture, sound and performance. McNulty has exhibited at Limerick City Gallery of Art, Limerick, Ireland (2014); White Box, New York, NY, USA (2012); The Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus, OH, USA (2012); Performa 11, New York (2011); The Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin (2011); FormContent, London, UK (2010); and the São Paolo Biennale (2004).
