Elizabeth Price

Elizabeth Price (b.1966 in Bradford, UK, lives and works in London, UK) holds a MFA from the Royal College of Art London. Her videos intertwine images, sound and text; taken from different genres, such as advertising, music videos, graphics and historical films. In 2012 she received the Turner Prize for her video installation THE WOOLWORTHS CHOIR OF 1979. Her work has been presented at Whitechapel Gallery, London (2014); Beursschouwburg, Brussels, Belgium (2014); Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, Canada (2013); Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (2013); Contemporary Art Society, London (2013); Tate Britain, London (2012); Bielefelder Kunstverein, Bielfeld, Germany (2012); Bloomberg Space, London (2012); New Museum, New York, NY, USA (2011); and Centre for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow, UK (2011).
